8M partnership connects researchers and industry to advance BC’s life sciences sector

The 8M partnership co-funds internships that place emerging researchers into British Columbia’s life sciences companies, providing practical industry experience and helping companies access needed research talent. The initiative involves co-funding from Mitacs, Health Research BC, and participating companies, amounting to more than $8 million over the current year and the next. It supports researchers at various career stages to gain industry experience within BC’s life sciences sector.
