Avaya/CWA/IBEW Academic Awards Program

The Avaya/CWA/IBEW Academic Awards Program provides scholarship awards to dependent children of Avaya represented employees who plan to pursue undergraduate study in the United States. Awards are up to $8,000 for one academic year of full-time study, with potential renewal for up to four years. Recipients are selected based on academic performance, volunteer service, work experience, and goals/objectives, with financial need not considered.

Up to $8,000 per year for undergraduate tuition; potential renewal up to four years contingent on GPA and continued parental employment.

Dependent children of regular full-time or part-time Avaya represented employees (domestic and U.S. expatriate) who have completed six months of continuous service as of the application deadline; current high school seniors planning to enroll in Fall 2026 in a first bachelor’s degree program; minimum 3.25 GPA on a 4.0 scale.

Applicants must provide official high school transcripts and meet eligibility criteria; detailed submission requirements are specified by Scholarship America on behalf of the sponsor.
