Emirati Youth Research Fellowship Program

The Emirati Youth Research Fellowship Program is a research fellowship established by the University of Sharjah to provide Emirati youth with opportunities to acquire research expertise and develop their skills across multiple research institutes. It is open to Emirati holders of diploma, bachelor, master or PhD degrees and to Emirati researchers working in or seeking positions in research units within the UAE. Fellows participate in research activities including field and lab work, research visits, participation in university conferences, and collaboration with graduate students and international researchers. The program aims to build a national research network and enhance the research capacity of Emirati youth to serve the UAE community.

Research skill development, participation in field visits and laboratory experiments, research visits, participation in university conferences, interaction and collaboration with graduate students and international researchers, and access to University of Sharjah research institutes and networks.

Open to Emirati youth aged above 20 who hold a diploma, bachelor, master or PhD degree; Emirati researchers working in research institutes or research departments of government or non-government organisations in the UAE; Emirati researchers seeking job opportunities; University of Sharjah alumni; and Emirati students pursuing higher education inside the UAE or abroad.
