Internationale ChemieOlympiade (IChO) in Deutschland

The Internationale ChemieOlympiade (IChO) in Germany is a multi-round chemistry competition for school pupils. The competition cycle comprises selection rounds (Aufgabenrunde, Klausurrunde, Bundesfinale) and culminates with the national team's participation in the International Chemistry Olympiad. The cycle begins each year on 1 April with the first round and continues through selection phases into the following year.

The competition is aimed at pupils up to 20 years old, with participation recommended from about 14 years of age. Both participating pupils and their supervising teachers must register in the online portal and link to each other via a code.
