Hertz Foundation États-Unis
2028
Informations
The Hertz Fellowship is a funded doctoral research fellowship supporting applicants in applied physical and biological sciences, mathematics and engineering, with funding commencing in fall 2027. It provides a substantial stipend and tuition support for up to five years, plus access to mentorship and a professional network. Applicants are evaluated on technical ability, creativity and leadership, with preference for those addressing significant, societally relevant problems.
Avantages
Full tuition support, a multi-year personal stipend, mentorship and access to a large community of fellows and alumni.
Conditions d'éligibilité
Applicants must be first- or second-year PhD students in fall 2027 (with some flexibility for those in a PhD pathway via an MD/PhD or similar). U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required; international students on a student visa do not meet the rule. A standalone master’s degree does not automatically exclude, but MBA/MD degrees are excluded unless part of a PhD pathway.
Candidature
Apply through the Hertz Fellowship portal; prepare essays and academic records, collect four recommenders, and submit within the official timeline.
