Carnegie India Research Internship 2026

The Carnegie Endowment for International Peace – Carnegie India invites applications for a Research Intern in the Security Studies Program in New Delhi, India. The internship is a full-time, in-person position lasting six to nine months, beginning in November 2026, with a monthly stipend. Interns support researchers, contribute to policy-oriented work, and may assist in organizing events related to defense and security studies.

Monthly stipend; experience in policy research and events; exposure to think-tank networks and opportunities in security and strategic studies.

Minimum graduate-level education with a background in defence, strategic studies or a related field; strong English writing and research abilities.
