Westheimer Scholarship 2026

The Westheimer Scholarship supports young people from asylum-seeking backgrounds who are pursuing their first undergraduate degree or equivalent professional qualification, with a focus on medicine, dentistry, nursing, social work or related health and social care professions. It will pay home tuition fees and associated study costs, with the final award dependent on obtaining a home fees offer from the chosen university.

Must be currently living in the UK, have applied for one or more undergraduate courses at UK universities through UCAS (or already be studying an undergraduate course), be asylum-seeking or have temporary status and be under 30 at course start; pursuing a degree in medicine, dentistry, nursing, pharmacy, health and social care, social work, or related health or social care professions.
