DAAD EPOS Scholarship for MSc Development Economics (University of Göttingen)

The DAAD EPOS Scholarship supports qualified professionals from developing and emerging countries to pursue the Master of Science in Development Economics at the University of Göttingen. The scholarship is part of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) EPOS programme and is attached specifically to Göttingen's MSc Development Economics (four-semester, 120 ECTS, English-taught). The scholarship provides financial support, insurance and preparatory language training to selected students.

Monthly scholarship allowance; health, accident and personal liability insurance; travel support; study and research support; additional individual support opportunities; two months of intensive German language training prior to the programme.

Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree (at least 180 ECTS or equivalent) in Economics or a closely related field, meet the MSc Development Economics admission requirements, have at least two years of relevant full‑time professional experience, come from an eligible developing or emerging country according to DAAD EPOS rules, and satisfy the English-language requirements.
