Folded Flag Foundation Scholarship

The Folded Flag Foundation Scholarship provides financial awards to qualifying spouses of fallen heroes and their children for college, graduate, trade/vocational training and summer activities. Awards may cover tuition and fees, books, computers, living expenses (including child care), tutoring, test preparation services and career-preparation expenses. Summer awards are available for in-person activities and do not affect fall/spring awards. Award amounts and the number of scholarships vary by year.

Applicants must be the spouse (all ages) or child (under the age of 26) of a member of the U.S. military who died as a result of hostile action or in an accident related to U.S. combat operations, or an employee of the U.S. government who died as a result of hostile action or in an accident related to U.S. combat operations. Summer scholarship applications are due by mid-April; fall/spring scholarship applications are due in May.

Submit an application by the stated deadline (mid-April for summer scholarships; May for fall/spring scholarships). Applicants will be notified by July for summer awards.
