African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) Internship Program 2027/2028

The African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) Internship Program is a funded internship offering a monthly stipend and housing support for eligible students in various fields. The program aims to provide interns with practical experience related to Africa’s trade finance and the Bank’s mandate, with opportunities for professional development and networking. It is open to graduates and current students who meet the eligibility criteria.

Monthly tax-free stipend of USD 1000; housing allowance of USD 500; accommodation during induction; medical insurance; visa support where required.

Open to nationals of Afreximbank member states, Africans in the diaspora, and non-African students whose vision aligns with the Bank’s mission; applicants must be enrolled in full-time undergraduate or postgraduate study during the internship year, with preference for fields including economics, business, finance, accounting, social sciences, statistics, law, sciences, engineering or related areas; age 20-32 in the year of application.
