Subvention unique de première année (University of Malta)

The Subvention unique de première année is a one-off financial grant provided by the Government of Malta to students enrolled at the University of Malta. It aims to help cover initial costs for equipment and teaching materials. The grant amount depends on the course classification (General, Prescribed, or High Priority) and is paid at the start of the first academic year for most students. For High Priority courses the stated amount is paid each academic year.

Cash grant paid to student bank account: EUR 465.87 (General courses) or EUR 698.81 (Prescribed or High Priority; High Priority paid each academic year).

Students must be enrolled in a diploma-level programme (Bachelor, Master, Diploma) at the University of Malta, be in their first year for General and Prescribed courses, and be eligible for the Government of Malta standard maintenance grant.
