Government of Ireland Postgraduate Scholarship Programme 2025

The Government of Ireland Postgraduate Scholarship Programme funds postgraduate education across all disciplines. It is a national initiative funded by the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science and managed by the Irish Research Council. The programme provides individual awards to excellent researchers with an objective peer-review process.

Stipend, contribution to fees, and eligible direct research expenses.

Applicants must be affiliated with an eligible Irish higher education institution or research-performing organisation; there is no age limit.
