State Scholarships for STEM in Croatia

The State Scholarships for STEM in Croatia are an annual national scholarship programme run to support students who excel in science, technology, engineering and mathematics studying at Croatian higher education institutions. Recipients receive a monthly stipend paid over the academic year to contribute to living and study costs. The ministry annually determines the number of beneficiaries and the list of eligible study programmes. Applications and rankings are managed through the ministry's online educational platform using the national educational electronic identity.

Monthly stipend paid over nine months (October–June) to partially cover living and study expenses.

A public call is published each autumn; applicants log into the ministry's online application portal with AAI@EduHr, eligibility of the study programme is verified against the official list, academic data are checked in the higher education information system and rankings/results are published on the portal.
