Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol main scholarships

The Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol main scholarships provide financial support to undergraduate students who undertake a substantial portion of their degree through the Welsh language. Scholarships are awarded in collaboration with partner institutions such as Cardiff University and are intended to promote Welsh-medium higher education. Awards provide an annual payment for up to three years to eligible students.

GBP 1,000 per year; support for up to three years (maximum total GBP 3,000).

Applicants must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree programme and undertake at least 66% of their studies (equivalent to 80 credits per year) through the Welsh language; candidates are nominated by their university following evaluation of application materials.

Complete the official Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol application form and submit required proof of enrolment/modules taught in Welsh to the higher education institution; successful candidates are nominated by the university.
