Research and Policy Officer

The International Growth Centre (IGC) is inviting applications for a remote Research and Policy Officer focused on affordable housing and spatial reform in South Africa. The role involves coordinating research projects, synthesising evidence, engaging with government and development partners, and translating research findings into policy outputs. The contract is remote but South Africa-based, running until March 2028, with an application deadline in late October 2026.

Candidates with a degree in economics, public policy, development studies, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
