Equipment Upgrade Programme

The Equipment Upgrade Programme provides funding to support the maintenance and upgrade of research infrastructures previously funded under the NNF Research Infrastructure Programme – Large Equipment and Facilities. It targets infrastructures that enable research within the foundation’s strategic focus on biomedicine, health sciences, sustainability, biotechnology and related natural and technical sciences. The programme aims to extend equipment lifetime, improve impact and sustainability, and ensure continued access to timely research infrastructure for research communities.

Grants of up to DKK 3 million for up to four years to support equipment maintenance and upgrades.

The applicant must hold a PhD and be a grant holder of a previously funded grant in the 'Large Equipment and Facilities' call of the Novo Nordisk Foundation; only applications submitted by such grant holders will be considered.
