Connecticut Science & Engineering Fair (CSEF)

The Connecticut Science & Engineering Fair (CSEF) is a statewide science and engineering fair for students in grades 7–12. It is organized by the Connecticut Science Fair Association and uses a hybrid format with an annual project-entry process and an awards ceremony. The 2027 fair runs from March 3 (when the project upload portal opens) to March 20 (awards ceremony).

Participants must pay a registration fee; independent participants may require approval to participate.

Open to students in grades 7–12 who reside in Connecticut or attend a school in Connecticut or Fishers Island; independent students must obtain approval from the registration chair and pay a registration fee.
