Field Trips / Research Stays

Field Trips / Research Stays is a grant programme providing funding for field trips abroad and research stays at foreign research institutions with a budget not exceeding DKK 100,000. It supports costs related to travel, accommodation and transport and may cover additional expenses for including family for stays of six months or more. Applicants must submit required project documentation including project description, budget, CV and list of publications. Applications are processed on a continuous basis.

Financial support for travel, accommodation and transport; possible additional support for family inclusion for stays of six months or more.

The applicant must be an associate professor, senior researcher or professor employed at a Danish research institution. Applicants previously rejected for this grant type may re-apply only after three months from receipt of the rejection letter.

Apply through the Carlsberg Foundation application portal (CF-Grant). Required attachments include project description, budget (use budget template), CV, list of publications and declaration from foreign host if relevant.
