Prijs Prof. Dr. Bernard Sabbe voor klinische psychiatrie

The Prijs Prof. Dr. Bernard Sabbe voor klinische psychiatrie is a monetary award for scientific work in clinical psychiatry. It recognises an individual researcher or two collaborating researchers for a scientific treatise or a bundle of publications concerning clinical psychiatry (adult, child & adolescent, or geriatric psychiatry). Submissions may be written in Dutch, French or English and may include a thesis; works previously awarded with an equal or higher prize are not eligible.

Monetary prize of 5,000 euro awarded to the laureate(s).

An individual researcher or two collaborating researchers who are health workers in psychiatry and/or mental health care (e.g. psychiatrists, clinical psychologists/orthopedagogues, psychiatric nurses, creative therapists) working in ambulatory and/or (semi)residential mental health services may apply. Candidates must not have applied for a Royal Academy of Medicine of Belgium prize in the 12 months before the deadline, must not be laureates of a category 1 prize of the Academy, and must not be members of a Royal Academy of Belgium.
