The ACLS HBCU Faculty Fellowships 2024-2025 provide stipends for faculty at Historically Black Colleges and Universities to pursue research leaves, course releases, or related activities. The program supports humanities and interpretive social sciences work, including travel for research or conferences and institutional programming support. Awards include a stipend plus a grant to the winner’s home institution and additional funds for finalists to support research activities and development workshops.

Conditions d'éligibilité
Applicants must be employed primarily as instructors at an institution designated as an HBCU, may be part-time or adjunct, and must hold an MA or PhD in the humanities or related social sciences by the deadline. Awardees must remain employed at an accredited HBCU for the duration of the award term and commit to a research leave with multiple course releases or equivalent.
Candidature
Applicants submit an online application including biographical information, project description, personal statement, proposal, bibliography, workplan, and budget.
