Sandmeyer Award

The Sandmeyer Award is a monetary award administered by the Swiss Chemical Society to recognise outstanding achievements in chemistry. It is awarded to individuals or groups and includes cash prizes. Nominations may be submitted by organisations or individuals, and self-nominations are permitted. Winners from recent years include academic and industrial research teams.

Cash prize (CHF 10,000 individual / CHF 20,000 group) and formal recognition of outstanding achievements in chemistry.

Nominations are invited from organisations and individuals; self-nominations are admitted. A nomination must include CV(s), a detailed description of the work including publications if available, a nomination letter and up to two seconding letters.

Submit electronic single PDF containing CV(s) (max 2 pages/person), detailed description of the work, a nomination letter and up to two seconding letters to the Swiss Chemical Society as instructed on the Society's site.
