Reliance Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships

The Reliance Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships is a national merit-cum-means programme that supports up to 5,000 meritorious Indian students for their undergraduate college education. It is for students enrolled in the first year of a regular full-time undergraduate degree in any stream and aims to reduce financial barriers and provide networking and alumni support. Selected scholars receive financial support over the duration of their degree and access to an alumni network and enabling support system. The programme encourages applications from girls and specially-abled students.

Applicant must be a resident Indian citizen who has passed Standard 12th with minimum 60% and is currently enrolled in the 1st year (academic year 2026-27) in a regular full-time undergraduate degree course in any stream, with household income under Rs. 15 Lakhs. Aptitude test is mandatory; certain categories (second-year or higher students, distance/online students, diploma-after-10th students, those in 2- or 6-year UG courses) are ineligible.

Apply via the Reliance Foundation scholarship portal; submit personal, academic and supporting documents, complete a mandatory 60-minute online aptitude test (60 MCQs covering verbal, analytical/logical and numerical ability); initial selection based on aptitude score, academics and personal information.
