Mastercard Foundation Doctoral Scholarships 2026-2027 at the University of Toronto

This is a doctoral scholarship opportunity at the University of Toronto funded by the Mastercard Foundation, for the Doctor of Public Health program. Up to three scholarships will be awarded for the 2026-2027 academic year to individuals who have demonstrated academic excellence and a commitment to returning to their home countries. The scholarship provides full financial support for tuition, travel, housing, books and other expenses, along with a comprehensive support network and orientation sessions.

Citizens of Sub-Saharan Africa residing in the region, who have graduated from a partner institution and have not yet started doctoral studies in the listed program, with demonstrated academic excellence and leadership, and a commitment to returning home for the final years of the program.
