INAE Innovative Student Projects Award

The INAE Innovative Student Projects Award recognises innovative projects and theses by engineering students at Bachelor, Master and Doctoral levels in institutions in India. Awards are conferred at three levels (Bachelor, Master, Doctoral) and include a certificate and cash prizes. Shortlisted nominees are invited to make an online presentation before the Selection Committee, and awardees may be inducted as Student-Members for five years. The awards may be presented during the INAE Annual Convention in December.

Nominations are accepted from students studying in institutions/universities registered under UGC/AICTE/Ministry of Education/competent Government authority of India. Eligible works include final-year Bachelor projects (academic years 2022–2023 through 2025–2026), Master's theses (those academic years), and Ph.D. theses examined and accepted/recommended for award in those academic years. Degree/provisional degree certificate must accompany the nomination proforma; nominations must be submitted by the Principal/Dean/Head of Department/Registrar/Director of the candidate's engineering college.

Only one nomination per engineering section at each level is accepted from an engineering college. Nominations must be sent by the institution's Principal/Dean/Head/Registrar/Director with a signed scanned nomination form and supporting documents emailed to projects.p1@inae.in.
