DAAD Helmut-Schmidt-Programme Master’s Scholarships 2027

DAAD Helmut-Schmidt-Programme Master’s Scholarships for Public Policy and Good Governance (PPGG) offers fully funded master’s studies in Germany for graduates from developing and emerging countries. The programme provides comprehensive financial support and opportunities for networking, seminars, and leadership development, with studies commencing in 2027 at selected German universities in fields related to public policy, governance, law, economics and related disciplines.

Monthly scholarship, full tuition fee exemption, health insurance, travel allowance, study and research grant, rent subsidy, family allowance for eligible scholars, mandatory German language course, networking and leadership development opportunities.

Be citizens of developing or emerging countries. Hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification and meet the English language requirements for the selected master’s programmes; have relevant professional experience and motivation to contribute to development.

Complete the official DAAD application form and submit for up to two eligible master’s programmes.
