The British Council GREAT Scholarship 2026

Call for application: The GREAT Scholarships program, launched by the British Council in collaboration with the UK government’s GREAT Britain Campaign and participating UK higher education institutions, supports international students pursuing postgraduate studies in the UK. Each award is worth £10,000 and is applied toward tuition fees for one-year taught master’s programs offered by participating universities.

Be a passport holder and permanent resident of a GREAT target country; have an undergraduate degree that enables entry onto a postgraduate programme at a participating UK university; meet English language and other academic requirements; demonstrate engagement with the UK as a scholar.
