TWAS-CUI Postgraduate Fellowship Programme 2026

The TWAS-CUI Postgraduate Fellowship Programme provides fellowships for postgraduate research leading to a PhD in natural or social sciences. It supports young scientists from developing countries (excluding Pakistan) who wish to pursue PhD studies at CUI in Islamabad, Pakistan. Recipients receive a monthly stipend to cover living costs, including food, accommodation and health insurance.

Applicants must be nationals of a developing country (other than Pakistan), not be on site in Pakistan, not hold a visa for residency in Pakistan or any developed country, hold an MSc degree with research in natural sciences (or MSc in a social science field for social sciences), and be a maximum age of 35 by 31 December of the application year.

Submit an acceptance letter from CUI with the application and provide reference letters via the online portal; apply by 15 June 2026.
