Spring Seed Grant 2026 (in collaborazione con le Associazioni di Pazienti)

The Spring Seed Grant 2026 is a competitive funding initiative to support monocentric seed research projects dedicated to Cohen syndrome. Projects have a duration of 12 months and a maximum budget of €50,000. The initiative is run by Fondazione Telethon in collaboration with the patient association Codini e Occhiali ODV to advance knowledge of this rare genetic disease and identify potential therapeutic approaches. Funding is open to researchers working in eligible Italian research institutions.

Research project funding up to €50,000 for a 12-month project.

Open to all researchers (including those currently funded by Fondazione Telethon ETS) who work in Italian research institutions, public or private non-profit, including the Telethon Institutes (SR-TIGET and TIGEM). Each researcher may apply with only one project as Lead Applicant.

Submit project application via the Fondazione Telethon Grant Management System (portal) and provide required documents and application form.
