CATS Fellowships 2025/2026 in Germany

The Centre for Applied Turkey Studies (CATS) at Stiftung Wissenschaft und Politik (SWP) offers fellowships for researchers, think tank members, and practitioners working on Turkey-related issues. Fellowships support research durations of six to twelve months, with residence in Berlin, and provide a monthly grant plus a budget for research travel.

Monthly stipend, budget for research trips, travel costs covered to/from Berlin, additional support for accompanying children.

Experienced researchers, think tank members, policy professionals working on Turkey-related issues; early-career scholars with a proven research track record, including PhD candidates with significant progress in Turkey-focused studies.
