Canada has launched the Rural Community Immigration Pilot (RCIP) and the Francophone Community Immigration Pilot (FCIP) to address labor shortages and support population growth in rural and Francophone minority communities outside Quebec. These programs provide skilled foreign workers with a pathway to permanent residence while contributing to participating communities.
