Centre for Budget and Policy Studies (CBPS) Research Fellowship 2026-2027

The CBPS Research Fellowship 2026-2027 is a funded research fellowship for young scholars to work on topics in education, gender, governance, health and nutrition, public finance, livelihoods and social security. Fellows work with CBPS staff, participate in in-house talks, seminars and workshops, and receive mentoring to contribute to ongoing research projects. The fellowship includes a monthly stipend and access to CBPS facilities, but does not cover housing or transportation.

Stipend of ₹25,000 per month; access to office spaces and facilities including internet and library; mentorship and involvement in CBPS research projects.

Primarily geared towards scholars who have recently completed a Bachelor’s or are in the final year of their undergraduate programme.
