Westlake University Summer Graduate Research Internship 2026 in China

The Westlake University Summer Graduate Research Internship is an international research internship for undergraduate and graduate students, hosted by Westlake University in Hangzhou, China. Participants work on advanced research projects across multiple disciplines, receive mentorship from faculty, and gain hands-on experience in world-class laboratories during the summer. The program aims to prepare students for doctoral studies and research careers and includes opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration and cultural exchange.

Hands-on research experience in laboratories, mentorship from internationally recognized scientists, participation in research forums and seminars, interdisciplinary seminars, and cultural/networking opportunities in Hangzhou.

Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport and be currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree, with recent graduates eligible as well.
