NASA Postdoctoral Program (NPP)

The NASA Postdoctoral Program (NPP) offers exceptional opportunities for recent doctoral graduates to conduct advanced research at NASA centers or affiliated institutions. Managed by Oak Ridge Associated Universities (ORAU), the program supports NASA’s missions across space science, Earth science, aeronautics, planetary science, and more. It provides a fully funded fellowship with a competitive stipend and additional funding for travel and professional development.

Stipend of about $70,000 per year, travel funding, and professional development support; access to NASA facilities and collaboration with scientists.

Open to individuals who have completed a doctoral degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) before starting the fellowship, with eligibility for U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or foreign nationals under J-1 visa status.
