Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU) Early Career Conference Grants 2026 for Developing Countries

The ACU Early Career Conference Grants provide funding to emerging academics at ACU member universities to attend and participate in conferences held in Commonwealth countries outside their region of employment. Grants aim to strengthen research, teaching, and professional networks by enabling early career researchers to share knowledge and build collaborations.

Financial support to attend an in-person conference, professional development and networking opportunities, and a required post-conference report.

Applicants must be early career researchers/academics at an ACU member university, within 7 years of starting their academic career, and must be presenting a paper or poster or chairing a session at a conference in a Commonwealth country.

Submit an online application via the MyACU portal with required documents including an abstract, institutional support letters, and a cost breakdown.
