Africa Institute, Global Studies University Senior and Postdoctoral Fellowships Program

The Africa Institute at Global Studies University (Sharjah, UAE) invites applications for its 2027 Senior and Postdoctoral Fellowships Program. It supports scholars, authors, and public intellectuals working in African studies, diaspora studies, literature, visual culture, performance, gender, feminism, and critical humanities, offering residencies and access to research infrastructure and an academic community.

Residency and access to research infrastructure; inclusion in an interdisciplinary academic community; opportunity to publish and collaborate.

Senior Fellowships are for Associate/Full Professors or equivalent senior scholars; Postdoctoral Fellowships are for PhD holders awarded within the last five years before September 2027. Open to international applicants with no nationality restrictions.
