PCMA Scholarship Programme 2026/2027 in Egypt

The PCMA Scholarship provides funded research scholarships in Egypt, hosted by the Polish Centre of Mediterranean Archaeology (PCMA), University of Warsaw, and supported by NAWA. It offers placements at the PCMA Research Centre in Cairo and participation in archaeological expeditions across Egypt, enabling direct exposure to fieldwork and academic collaboration. The programme includes winter semester funding and expedition scholarships tied to various Egypt-related research topics.

Monthly stipend, accommodation, participation in activities and expeditions, networking with international researchers, access to PCMA topics for theses.

Masters students (1st or 2nd year in Archaeology/Egyptology), PhD candidates working on Egypt-related dissertations, and employees of Polish universities affiliated with Polish institutions.

Submit an online application form with project title, description, CV, publications, and expected outcomes; send supporting documents by email (status certificate or diploma, recommendation letter).
