Cambridge Africa Changemakers Scholarship

The Cambridge Africa Changemakers Scholarship is a fully funded PhD scholarship programme for students from Africa. It is offered by the Cambridge Trust in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation, supporting students whose research contributes to the development of Africa and to climate-resilient, sustainable futures. The award covers the full cost of study including tuition, stipend, immigration health surcharge, visa costs, and travel/research allowances for the duration of the PhD.

Citizens of any African country who will apply for a PhD programme at the University of Cambridge and can demonstrate financial need while pursuing research that supports African development and climate-resilient futures.
