OpenAI Safety Fellowship

The OpenAI Safety Fellowship is a pilot program for external researchers, engineers, and practitioners to pursue high-impact research on the safety and alignment of advanced AI systems. The fellowship lasts 18 weeks, offers a monthly stipend, mentorship from OpenAI experts, and opportunities to collaborate with peers and produce research outputs such as papers, benchmarks, or datasets.
