Kookmin University Global Korea Scholarship (GKS)

The Global Korea Scholarship (GKS) is a fully funded program sponsored by the Korean Government to promote international education exchange. Through Kookmin University’s University Track, international students can apply for Master’s, Doctoral, or Research programs with full financial support.

Round-trip airfare (economy), full tuition and admission fee waiver, monthly living allowance, settlement allowance, language training, research allowance per semester, medical insurance, thesis/dissertation printing support, additional allowance for TOPIK levels, and extended scholarship duration for Master's or Doctoral programs.

Applicants must hold foreign citizenship, be under 40 years of age in the selection year, hold the required category-specific degree, maintain a minimum GPA, be physically and mentally fit for long-term study, and have not previously studied at a Korean university. Preference given to applicants with Korean or English proficiency and those in science and technology fields.

Apply through either the Embassy Track or the University Track, submit required documents, attend an interview if required, and await Selection results.
