Gauteng City Region Academy (GCRA) 2026 Bursary

The Gauteng City Region Academy (GCRA) bursary programme provides full-cost study funding for undergraduate and/or postgraduate study at accredited South African higher education institutions or TVET colleges. It is open to qualifying youth, with preference for residents of Gauteng. The bursary covers the full cost of study based on conditions in the bursary contract.

Full cost of study covered (tuition, likely fees and related costs) as per bursary contract.

The Top 3 Grade 12 learners from all No-Fee paying, SSIP and LSEN government schools in Gauteng qualify for a bursary to study at a recognised Higher Education Institution (HEI) or a Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) College.
