McCain Institute Global Leaders Program

The McCain Global Leaders Program is a 12-month leadership initiative run by the McCain Institute. It identifies and supports mid-to-senior professionals committed to advancing democracy and human rights, offering regional and global programming, expert-led training, and a global peer network. The program includes fully funded in-person events, a practical skills curriculum, and post-program support for professional projects.

Three fully-funded in-person events; expert-led training and leadership development; global peer network and regional connections; stipend for incidental expenses; post-program support for professional projects and collaborations; coverage of direct costs including travel, accommodation, and visas.

Applicants must be mid-to-senior career professionals with at least five years of experience, aged 25–45, proficient in English, and actively working in leadership roles addressing democracy and human rights themes.
