The Science@Leuven Scholarship is an international master's scholarship funded by the Science@Leuven Fund and offered by KU Leuven's Faculty of Science. It supports outstanding international students pursuing a Master’s degree in science-related fields at KU Leuven in Belgium. The scholarship combines a living allowance with a partial tuition fee waiver and is highly selective.
Avantages
Living allowance of €12,000 per academic year (up to 2 years); tuition fee waiver for non-EEA students (reduced fee) with EEA students receiving the allowance; recognition and networking within KU Leuven’s scientific community.
Conditions d'éligibilité
International students from all nationalities may apply. Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree from a non-Belgian university, must not have previously studied or worked at KU Leuven, must not already hold a Master’s or PhD degree, must meet KU Leuven admission requirements for the chosen program, demonstrate academic excellence (equivalent to Distinction or higher), and be fluent in English (TOEFL iBT minimum 94 or IELTS minimum 7.0). They must also be willing to act as an ambassador for the Science@Leuven community.
Candidature
Apply for admission to your Master’s program via the KU Leuven online application tool, upload required documents, then apply for the Science@Leuven Scholarship using the confirmation email as proof and complete the two required forms.
