AfOx Mastercard Scholarship

The AfOx Mastercard Graduate Scholarship is a fully funded scholarship for exceptional African students to pursue a graduate Master’s program at the University of Oxford. It is a partnership between the Mastercard Foundation, the Africa Oxford Initiative (AfOx), and Saïd Business School Foundation, providing holistic support before, during, and after study at Oxford.

Full tuition, living costs stipend, accommodation, meals, laptop and learning materials, visa fees, return airfare, health insurance, settling-in allowance, Thrive Fund access, mentorship and leadership training, and post-graduation placement support.

Applicants must be African nationals and ordinarily resident in Africa, have received a conditional offer to the Oxford MBA program, and show a commitment to Africa’s development.

Apply for the Oxford MBA by the official graduate application deadline; no separate scholarship application is required. Shortlisted applicants complete a questionnaire and may participate in a virtual interview.
