Human Rights Scholarship 2026 in Australia (Masters & Doctoral)

The Human Rights Scholarship supports exceptional Master’s and PhD students committed to peaceful human rights advocacy through research and action. It is hosted at one of Australia’s top research institutions, the University of Melbourne, offering a fully funded package for up to 2 years for Master's by research and up to 3.5 years for PhD, including tuition offset and living allowance.

Annual living allowance, full tuition fee offset, relocation grant, health cover for international students, paid sick, maternity and parenting leave.

Open to domestic and international applicants worldwide; applicants must not already hold a research qualification at the same level and must show a clear commitment to human rights beyond academics.
