AU Internship Program 2026: Communication, Digital Communication & any Digital Fields

Applications are open for an AU internship program designed to expose African students to work at the African Union Secretariat, with a focus on translation, interpretation and related digital communications work. The program aims to develop analytical and technical skills in an international environment and to provide hands-on experience across various applicable fields within the AU. Interns are deployed to assist in translation of working documents and may participate in meetings and related activities.

Practical experience at the AfCFTA Secretariat; exposure to continental trade and communication initiatives; professional networking; development of digital communication and media skills; experience in an international environment.

Be nationals of a Member State of the African Union and residing in Ghana; final year students enrolled in a fully accredited degree program in relevant fields (e.g., Interpretaion/Translation); available for a minimum of three months; proficiency in an AU official language; ICT and Microsoft Office skills.
