Wharton Global High School Investment Competition

A free, experiential investment challenge for high school students and their teachers that uses a stock market simulator and a yearly case study. Teams of four to six students, guided by a teacher-advisor, develop a long-term investment strategy and submit an Investment Policy Statement and a Comprehensive Final Report. Semifinalists present virtually and the top teams advance to a Global Finale at the Wharton School in Philadelphia. The competition emphasizes strategy, research, risk evaluation, communication, and teamwork rather than portfolio performance alone.

Access to the Wharton Investment Simulator (WInS) and SurveyMonkey Apply hub, experiential learning in investing and strategy, opportunity to present in virtual semifinals and compete at the Global Finale at Wharton.

High school students in grades 9 through 12 participate in teams of four to six, guided by a teacher who serves as their advisor.
