The CHAI Research Fellowship is a postdoctoral research programme hosted by the Center for Human-Compatible Artificial Intelligence (CHAI) at the University of California, Berkeley. It supports research in AI alignment, machine learning, decision-making systems, robotics and related areas and enables collaboration with Berkeley faculty and partner institutions. Fellows lead independent research agendas while participating in seminars, mentoring, and interdisciplinary projects. The programme emphasizes research on safe, reliable and human-compatible AI.

Conditions d'éligibilité
Applicants must possess a PhD (completed or near completion) in a relevant technical discipline and demonstrate strong research achievements; expertise in areas such as computer science, statistics, mathematics, theoretical economics, machine learning, AI, robotics or data science is expected.
