Summer Undergraduate Research in Engineering (SURE)

A summer research program run through Penn Engineering that places undergraduates in technology-based research projects across Penn’s centers and institutes. It provides hands-on research experience in areas including robotics, computer animation, nanotechnology, genomics and biotechnology. Participants work with Penn faculty and state-of-the-art research laboratories as research assistants or interns.

Hands-on summer research experience in Penn Engineering laboratories; mentorship from faculty; placement as research assistants or interns in topics such as robotics, nanotechnology, genomics and biotechnology.

SURE opportunities are open to students in engineering and the physical sciences.
