EAPIL Winter School

The EAPIL Winter School is an annual on-site school organised by the European Association of Private International Law and hosted at the University of Insubria in the cloister of the Basilica di Sant’Abbondio (Como). Each edition is devoted to a particular topic in European Private International Law and features face-to-face lessons, case law analysis, debates, workshops and moot court competitions. It aims to train PhD students, young scholars and young practitioners in the field. Lecturers include academics, magistrates and lawyers.

Participants receive training through face-to-face lessons, case law analysis, debates, workshops and moot court competitions.

Mainly targeted to PhD students, young scholars, and young practitioners from EU Member States and other European countries.
