A departmental summer research program for undergraduate students in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Toronto. Participants work on 16-week research projects with a faculty member, postdoctoral fellow, or graduate student, attend a series of talks over the summer, and present their work in a poster session at the Undergraduate Research in Computer Science Conference. The program includes students funded by NSERC USRA, University of Toronto Excellence Awards (UTEA) and Department of Computer Science Awards (DCS Awards), as well as students doing research for course credit.
Avantages
$12,000 stipend for 16 weeks of summer research; participation in departmental talks and final poster session.
Conditions d'éligibilité
USRA and UTEA awards are open to second-year or higher full-time computer science students with a cumulative average of at least B+. NSERC USRA awards are open exclusively to Canadian citizens or permanent residents. UTEA awards are open to Canadian citizens or permanent residents and foreign students with a valid student visa for the full summer work term.
